The dreadful cat claws. My grandmothers cat was the worst, it would tear up everything. She decided to have it's front paws de-clawed (though depawed would probably be better) and ti started tearing up things with it's rear feet. I think cats just revel in the fact of being destructive little turds. My wife continues wanting a cat, but thankfully I'm allergic so I have that as my buffer of safety. :) Gah! I like the idea of the inner turmoil between Tim and the cats, I'd have to see a bit more of the girlfriend and Tim's dynamic with the cats around to get an idea if she is destined to be a Cat Lady or if she just has a big heart and it's hard to turn away another stray.
