Had another comic ready to post for Friday but this one just screamed out to me and had to finish it TODAY! Had the idea while driving home, penciled it while watching my kids play outside and inked and colored after they went to sleep! More comics on Monday!

I’ve been sketching and writing down ideas for single panel gags for several weeks now and have decided to start posting them. There a lot quicker to do then working on the strips I’ve been trying to do on and off. With all the traveling I’m doing this makes a lot more sense and it’s a lot of FUN, so please stick around for more!
I also want to thank J.T. at http://www.nightgig.com/ for all his advice and encouragement. We’ve been meeting up for coffee for several years now to talk comics, music and all things creative. Check out his podcast he does with Scott http://gigcast.nightgig.com/ it’s a good one!
Hi, decided to upload some pics from the last Mini-Megacon a few months back! Had a great time at this con and looking forward to the next one. Hopefully I’ll have a new minicomic out by then!

Hey everyone just got back from Megacon comic convention in Orlando and had a great time.In this photo is Scott, Karl, Krishna, JT Shea and myself. I had a table next to KC Green and Scott (from Madscott) and some of the other talented guys from nightgig. I been busy trying to paint a large mural here in town but I am ready to start posting again soon! Thanks for sticking around.
Hey everyone, Had a great time being interviewed by JT and Scott from the Gigcast on there latest podcast! These guys have done a great show for years now on webcomics, music and popculture. Give it a listen!
The guys at Nightgig have also started a forum for all us STOOPITZ! Thankz!
Hi everyone, I was more then a little nervous and excited to hear that stoopitz was about to be reviewed by a webcomic review site. When you put so much time and effort into a project like this it’s hard not to take critique personally. But after reading the previous reviews on the Heraldy of Webcomics site my fears were put to ease. The reviews were well thought out and presented and could be critical without being mean spirited.
Here’s a section of the review, you can find the complete review at the Heraldy of Webcomics site which is linked in the left hand column.
“This past week, the comic I came accross was Stoopitz, a webcomic by Brian Gibson which was a pleasure to find in more ways than one. Yeah, it meant that I would be able to get a review done that week, but there’s also the fact that Stoopitz is quite possibly better than some of the big-name comics out there. In fact, I had to constantly check to ensure that this comic was, in fact, a newer comic and not something that was read by approximately half of the webcomics community.”
Hello all, hope your holidays went well! The last few weeks have been a little crazy with my computer on the blink. Which hasn’t been all bad, I’am starting to realize I’ve been spending alot more time on the computer then at the drawing board. Looking back through the archive(I hope you do as well!) I’ve noticed the ones I liked the best took the most time. So I’ve decide to change the comic to a slightly larger format and take more time with each one. I think will make a better comic for you and more satisfying for myself.
There are a load of stories in my head that I would like to tell (just ask my friends!) and learning a little more every day how to do that! So I’ll keep striving to make a better comic if you all keep reading THANKZ! New comic on WEDNESDAYS!
AHHH! my computer has been acting funny all week and last night it stopped charging, So I need to take it in to get looked at. I’ve jumped onto my wifes laptop in the meantime, Which is going to hold up Mondays comic till later ’cause I need to add software and re-scan and re-do most of Mondays strip. Sorry for the delay and will be posting comic sometime this afternoon.
THANKZ!
I’m working on putting together a 12 or 16 page minicomic that I plan to sell at megacon in Orlando this year. JT from nightgig studious graciously offered some space at his table since I waited to long to get my own table.
I plan on adding some extras to the comic that are not on the site and I ‘m kinda excited about it. I will also be offering it for sale on the site once I get around to adding a store. So If your going to megacon please keep an eye out for STOOPITZ!
JT from the gigcast and nightgig studious and I meet up for coffee the other day at a coffee house called the Witches Brew (cool place) and talked about webcomics, computers and joys of being recently layed off from are daygigs! He asked if I wanted to be part of nightgig studious and I said hell yeah! Cool!
Nightgig was the first comic forum I joined and Scott ( http://www.madscottcomic.com/ ) and JT both answered A lot of questions about hosting and websites. And I still have a lot of questions to ask!
There are a lot of talented people involved with nightgig studious and I’m excited about being a new member.
Stoopitz-Interview on the Gigcast!
