The stories and its characters are all fictional creations loosely based around the years I lived in Manhattan and Brooklyn from 1989 till 2002. This comic is about being young and sometimes stupid while trying to find your way in a big city.
About the name of the strip. In my local bar in Brooklyn my friend and I were having a disagreement over a game of eightball. I guess we were too loud, cause the bartender yelled across the bar “PIPE DOWN OVER THERE STOOPITZ!” I liked the sound of that ever since, and the characters will be hanging out on the stoop a lot in the strip. I will be updating on WEDNESDAYS THANKZ!
